Our dog passed away a few months ago. She was 18 years old. It was a great loss. We think she was a Cockapoo, so we’ve decided to get a puppy of the same breed.
Anyone know where to find a female Cockapoo somewhere in the Huntsville-area for under $500? (The color doesn’t matter.) My mom and I have been looking for one on the internet for DAYS to no avail. Please help.

WE HAVE ALREADY SEARCHED THE SHELTERS.
I NEVER SAID THEY WERE A REGISTERED BREED.
Never did I say that they could be entered in shows, etc.
All I want to find is a house dog that fits the qualities we’re looking for.
Cockapoos are a mixed breed. Part poodle, part cocker spaniel. Yes, they may be mutts, but they don’t shed and they’re hypoallergenic.
If you don’t have any advice, please don’t post.

I found one in Florida and picked him up at the pound. Now I’m looking for one around Huntsville, Alabama. They’re very active, fun dogs and extremely rare in this area. I feel fortunate to have one. . . . .
